I’m Sue Morris, a British screenwriter born in Birmingham and currently living in Lincolnshire. I’m a candidate member of the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain.
I write drama with a wry sense of humour and a distinctly female perspective, whether in a contemporary, historical or sci-fi setting.
My murder mystery screenplay Second Glance, set in the US, won a Silver Prize at the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards and was subsequently optioned by an American production company.
I’ve collaborated on projects with local filmmakers, including next-to-no-budget sci-fi/horror feature The Drift (which has had over three million views on YouTube) and the follow-up short film Darkwave: Edge of the Storm. Check out the links on the right, or watch them right here!
As a former engineer and business analyst, I’m strong at problem-solving and story logic. I love historical fiction and old British TV sci-fi shows.
